MEDICAL-LEGAL
In my legal work, I provide Qualified Medical Evaluations (QMEs) and Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) in the areas of psychology and neuropsychology, with contexts including workers' compensation, personal injury, disability, fitness for duty, and capacity; I also perform criminal forensic evaluations, but to a more limited degree. My opinions are balanced and honest, and are grounded in an evidence-based, neutral-examiner framework. I form my impressions through detailed history-taking, thorough record review, and the administration and interpretation of cognitive and/or emotional tests, including those of performance and symptom validity.

Commonly evaluated questions include those related to employment, past-sexual abuse, mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI)/concussion, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health conditions, and various decision-making capacities.
